ANY SUGGESTION I DID A HARD RESET, STILL (sorry about the caps)wouldnt send, so i just turned it off still wouldnt send, im gonna try *228, its beena little less than a month since i last updated but yeah if anyone has and suggestion thanks!

and my phone wasnt able to be updated, so i guess something must be going on with the enhanced network, im in an EV-DO area and im stillin EV service, and can make voice so RTT is working im jsut so confused.

Try doing a "master reset", it's more than likely the phone software. I've helped many folks over the years where everything on their acct was fine....acct features will be ok, techs will update switch, no vzw outages.....master reset will work 90% of the time. Give it a try.

The hard reset and then OTA is usually the fix but if it not, call data support and advise them that you can not text. You also didn't mention what happens when you try and txt. Does it simply fail? There is nothing in the network overall that is stopping you but there are backend features required on your account in order for any national access features to work. For example, if you just removed VCAST, a representative may have forgotten to add the feature that is required in its place for your model phone. Since I can not view your account, that is about as detailed as I can get as to why, but a data coordinator will be able to review your account and troubleshoot and let you know if it is on our end or a trouble with the phone. it works now, it must have been a regional thing, cause i figured imineaswell try txt on my moms phone, and hers didnt work either so i gues something must have been wrong with our tower or somehting? cause when i would send,it would just say sending...sending..,.failed due to general problems. im still goig to call cs just to make sure,

"Band: 850/1900" im guessing one is for voice one is for ev-do?

What's it say for channel, menu -> phone info -> other information -> Channel. You can work your way back from there. đ and no, EV can run in either band... Don't have EV here yet. âšī¸ I'ts coming soon though... I'm not allowed to say when, but I'm excited about how soon it's coming...
