Sirius on the Q

I posted this in the Q forum too, but I wanted to post it here too because I'm really looking for some help:

I downloaded the Sirius program for the Q when it was posted on here and it worked wonderfully for a couple of months. Now all of a sudden it is telling me that the connection failed. I know it isn't a data network issue because I can still access the internet when I am having this problem.

Did Verizon block the ability to listen to Sirius on the Q? Is anyone else having a problem?

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

1st of all the TOS for unlimited broadband use strickly says no streaming audio or video...that would include Sirius. Uses too much bandwidth...

Yeah...and when a tower gets a ton of people trying their slingbox on it and can't achieve jack squat in terms of speed...people will see the need to curtail.

Oh...and if VZW won't...then they can always go and join the 200k that joined sprint/nextel last quarter...

Too much bandwidth my a$$. One hour of Sirius streaming is 15 megabytes.

And don't get me started on limiting an unlimited plan. Someone at Verion failed business ethics class miserably.

You've never taken a business ethics class, have you. Here is what I took away from mine.

1. Business and ethics don't mix.

2. If your ethics cost you business, dump the ethics not the business.

3. It's only unethical if you get caught, it's only illegal if they take you to jail.

4. If you can hide it, it isn't unethical.

5. If you can justify it, it isn't unethical.

Now I disagree with these things, but that's pretty much what I got from my business ethics class

I have had many business ethics classes in my time, but it is obvious to me that I never encountered the horrible professors that you have had. But based on what you state that you have learned, you would make ...

Everybody is chiming in and agreeing that Sirius is against TOS.

But the OP question was:

"Did Verizon block the ability to listen to Sirius on the Q? Is anyone else having a problem?"

It's a good question. Customers were getting warnings for using more than 10GB per month, but I have not read of anybody getting booted for catching a quick movie trailer or weather report.
