I know you can disable EVDO but can you also disable 1x, too? I rarely use data services and would rather have longer battery life from digital-only signal. Thanks!

The Chocolate is all digital. If you disabled evdo then it is 1xrtt only. If you disabled 1xrtt then the phone would cease to make calls. So I suppose you could power the phone off...you would have the same result in terms of making calls...
