Ok, I have read some of the threads about the 8300 and the bluetooth problems.

The problem I have is that the other person can only hear me about 75% of the time, a lot of times when I start the conversation I can hear them perfectly but the other party cannot hear me at all, no background noise or anything. I have to hang up then call them back and then it will work. About 1 out of 4 phone calls have this problem has anybody else experienced it? I am using the Jabra BT350

Don't have the 8300 but on my 8100 it did that for a while. It was with my scala 500 but it hasn't done it since I got the lg bt headset. Also it seemed to fix it for a while on my scala when I deleted it and repaired it. Hope this helps at least a little.

bluetooth on that phone sucks.

i went through 5 different headsets on my 9800, 8300, and 8100. and the plantronics v510 is the only one that works correctly.

so i set on a journey to find out WHY????!!!!

after research and probing lg and plantronics. this is what i found out:

LG bluetooth handsets use small bluetooth antenna's and NEED a headset with a LARGE antenna. like the plantronics v510.

example: the moto h700, h500 (not that bad) and i cant remember the jabra headset but it was sold in the vzw bundle. they suck with lg's and samsungs because they all use smaller BT antenna's and so do those phones.

Just wanted to say for your findings that even if this is true, I had a great time with my jabra 350 and the 8100 and although I posted that the 8300 is a little problematic with the 350v, for the most part I get great connection.

Just have to say that I have the 8300 and a jabra 350 and i have great conversations. Maybe if you want a percentage, people can hear me 90% of the time. The only problem I have is that when I call someone, then about 1 out of 5 times they can not hear me and then I use options to send audio to phone and then at point i send it back to bluetooth and it works fine. It hasn't been happening much lately though after reconnecting the headset. Hope this helps.
