I just got mine why did they send me everything, like the battery charger and back to the phn?
...
Did you mean, why didn't they send everything? On manu warranty replacements you get the phone without the rest, depending on the problem you were having...
...
One of the excuses is "Some people buy extended batteries, and we don't want to take them away, or have to provide them anything but the original battery." And usually if you have an XR batt the batt door is non OE cause they're usually bigger...
How many of you guys laugh when you see the RAZR with the big honkin huge XR batt and door stuck in the back... I sure as heck laugh!

I use the 8300 and have an extended battery. I demo phone features like crazy to customers and use BT. So my battery life always sucks. I had a V710 and with an extended battery I didn't get better then 1 1/2 day on a charge. Similar results with the 8300. I went to Philly the other day and did a bunch of VCAST stuff and burned through the battery in less then a day. I would hate to see my battery life on a standard battery...

I have recently helped 2 customers get warrently replacements on LG5200's, and both of them had everything sent to them also. A new box, phone, battery, back of phone, charger and manuals. I was a little confused myself, but I think perhaps Verizon sends those phones out when they have ran out of refurbished phones. As far as I can tell, they are brand new instead of refurbished. Which makes you a lucky customer!! I may be wrong, but this is the first time I have ever come across a warranty replacement that has the whole box.

If you got everything, phone, box and all, you may want to check the fine print on your paperwork. The only time I've ever had a warranty replacement come with everything is if there was a new 2 year contract extension done on that line. Otherwise you should just be getting the phone and nothing else. Just a suggestion because when it happens the customer doesn't always know about that extension. And if you activate it, you're agreeing to the terms.

Cing send full kits....if you contiue to have problems, even diff makes and models
...
Verizon does that too.. usually if you had the same phone replaced like 3-4 times. I usually order them after 3x if they have an ultra crappy phone. Most common kits are LG 5200 and A850s.
...
Yep Biscuit, I would think that would be "some kind of execption" cause that is not standard policy... (Hard to believe there would not be any replacements for LG 5200 though! )
...
Well I took it to the store and they just put the new stuff back into the box and sent it back for me, I guess I should have kept the new stuff...oh well

If you subscribe to Total Equipment Coverage, it covers all your accessories as well. Also - when you do a claim, your replacement is based on Asurion's stock levels. Your Asurion Terms and Conditions state that you will receive a comparable model. So if the one they ship you is different than what you had, you get all the accessories.

Scratch that! Thought you did an insurance claim. The reason you got a whole box is in fact because the company's refurbished stock levels are low so they had to switch you into a different handset. More unlikely that it is a new handset - just another refurbished one with all the accessories b/c it's different than what you had in your hand when you walked in. **It does not extend your contract if they are doing a typical warranty exchange.**
