National Access is basically the ability of hooking your cell pone up to a laptop or PDA and using it as a modem...average speed is about 40-60kbps but it can burst up to 144kbps, speed all depends on usage on the tower at the time...there are a couple different options for placing it on your accnt...it's 79.99 for unlimited use... or you can have it set up on a megabyte plan...but thats only good if you know exactly how many megabytes you would use i.e. business presentations...hope this helps
