Question for the Verizon people if I were a Verizon customer and I wake up on Saturday morning and initiate a call at 8:00 am is that part of my night and weekend minutes.

The reason I asked is I once had a customer tell me that verizon customer care told her that her weekend minutes didn't start until noon on Saturday. I wasn't there so it is her word against verizon. Just checking.

You know the old saying "If you love it set it free"?

Well we locked pimp up in a steel box 6 feet by 5 feet and fed him bread and raw fish through an opening in the roof... Somehow he always manages to pick the lock and get to a computer to post.. So we gotta beat him with a stick and shove him back into his box. 🤣

Now on to business. TECHNICALLY VZW's Night time is Monday through friday 9:01pm - 5:59am each day. Weekend minutes start from 12:00am saturday to 11:59pm sunday. It gets confusing so EVERYONE in the industry on all sides say "Nights from 9:00pm till 6:00am monday - thursday. Then from friday night till monday morning completely free." Err more or less.

GW brings up a very good point on there, remember single rate plans sell an optional Weekend only minutes feature for those.

Simple... you seem to think you have a great deal of wireless knowledge. I was just wondering how you amassed it.

I have been in wireless since it was AMPS or nothing. Started with AirTouch, stayed through BellAtlantic Mobile, and then VZW. Went from there to indirect sales where I handled every carrier but T-Mobile, when they went Sprint only I stayed until I couldn't deal with it anymore... they aren't that great here in New England. Got out of the game for about two years until Cingular.

So before you start calling me a moron, I figured you might want to know what I know.

ahhh the Amps days. I remember selling AirTouch in my area and those old phones. heck in the retail I worked at we still had 3 bag phones stuck in our inventory that we couldn't get rid of because Verizon would no longer serviced them all the way up to the day I left. I don't know if they are still there or not, its been about 3-4 years sense I've been there.

I used to fix bag phones from non-working to able to be used again for Bell South Mobility. And I mean complete with using armor all on the leather to make it shine again. I tested the big lead batteries and fixed those big ass antennas that had to be screwed on just right to work. Those were such a pain.

mmmm, lead-acid batteries, the best there is as long as you don't mind carrying something that weighs 10 tons and you can't let die.

lol... yeah but they were great for would be muggers...you almost had to register your bag phone as a lethal weapon...lol

Cop: excuse me sir, do you have a CCPID?
Guy: Whats that?
Cop: Concealed Cell Phone ID...that thing's a deadly weapon in the wrong hands. Step over here against the cruiser, please...

So Cingular must be mercury getting their ass burnt by Verizon the sun. 🤣

And Pluto must be nextel since they can't even come close to Verizon's network the Sun.

Except Nights are as hot as days are when we are concerned. So nights are included for free minutes 🙂

And of course AT&T must be Uranus... 😳 🤣

And T-Mobile is Earth, to us the Sun is useful because it makes us look good... 😁
