internal antenna on teh slvr

where is it located, i dispise internal antennas but if its ner the top, i dont think i would be that bad and if i ahve to i can switch back to my e815 when traveling to a choppy place. im serioulsy concsidering getting it, any thoughts?

just a question...all these people on the forum talk about getting new phones when they like you have an e815 or something recent like that. your 2 year contract certainly isn't up so do people like you fork over all of the money and buy the phone full price?

i have an account and my aunt has an account with my momom and my mommomdied so i just took the ne2 credit bought the phone and switched ESN. and my upgrade date is some time in septmeber, so no im not buying the ponhe at full price, that is just ridiculous

i would imagine it would be on top. The razr, samsungs, lg's all out them on top so that would make the most sense 😕

the razor is on the bottom near the mic and speaker!

samsungs are all on top only lg is 9800 don't know where that one is U??

9800 is on top, didn't realize razr was on bottom.hmmm, well i had no reception issues with my razr or my chocolate with the antenna on the bottom and i live in a poor reception area.

The location when pressed to your face is irrelevant. You will get the same reception if it is on top, side, front back. The radio waves to the phone are not that specific that they would be any less.

Motorla in the RAZR and slivr puts the antenna on the bottom so the radio waves do not emanate through your ear and into your brain. This was by design so the waves tend to broadcast "away from you".

This is not an issue to worry about and you will not notice a difference based on its location.
