Kickoff?
This may sound really stupid but what the heck is a kickoff? Do agents have them? I talked to my VZW Corp rep yesterday and she had no clue what I was talking about. This is not a shock by the way.....I guess I am getting sick of not being informed by the people that are supposed to your support system. Do any other indirects have this problem?

We usually have a kickoff meeting at the beginning of the year, around February. They just announce coming things and expectations for the year.

Our "Kick off" is usually around November, they always have it at some fancy Hotel and it is usually In the "ball room", all the phone reps (Motorola, LG Samsung, etc.) come and show off whats coming out and Verizon big wigs are there giving little lectures about how great VZW is. Its pretty nice, everybody has to dress up and you get all kinds of free stuff.

Our Kick off is twice a year once the first quearter and then the thrid quarter. Like wfine said it in a nice hotel ours is actually this wednesaday in dc. The fed you a real nice dinner you get see all or most of the new products that the vendors are coming our with for the next (4th quarter) and get info on all of them. My Faveriote part of all the free stuff you get. and we do a raffle for thing like phones ans headseta and bluetooth and thinkgs like that. Its a fun time.

Yeah we had an Agent Fair like a few months ago. Very similar to what you guys are talking about I was just wondering why we have not heard about anything...I am just tired of the way our agent rep treats us....I have to call her boss to even find out the most simple answers...
