The 870 is horrible - We tested and it's really bad !

We tested this weeks ago.. The worst voice quality ever on any VZW phone.. The person on the other end thinks you are on some horrible headset or something.. We tested 2 units and they are bad. Samsung has let the voice quality deterioate from the 930 and forward..
If they dont fix this stuff , they will be out of the cell phone business.
Goto any VZW store and call your friend from the 870 and then call him from the 8300 and have him toggle back and forth between calls, he will hear that the Samsung is almost unusable..

I have the Samsung a930 and no one has complained about my calls from their end. I have used both the phone with speakerphone ...

I spent 7+ years in the AT&T DSL and Voice over DSL lab in Florham Park NJ developing Digital Voice Services. I have a very extensive background in Electronics and Technoology. I don't want to sound snooty, but I actually know what I am talking about.
I dont know how long you have been on scoop but I can tell you since you don't know me well that I was the biggest Sams fan in the world. The 530 and 670 were the best phones probably ever made. I tried so hard to stay a Sams fan but when the 950 hit with all it's problems and it's ugly red look and then the 930 with it's issues. I tried LG and fell in love. Believe me LG has issues also just alot less than Sams.
