Offpeak minutes billing
If it's like 8:45 PM on a Monday and i call someone, and my call ends at 9:30 PM, will that be 15 peak minutes used or will it be 45 minutes? Thanks
...
No. VZW call minutes go to off-peak at 9:00 PM even if in mid-call. This is not the case for all carriers however.
...
This all depends...in the i2k billing system if you are on a call from 8:45pm until after 9:01 pm your entire call will roll into off peak. If you are in the Vision billing system and you are on a call from 8:45pm until say 9:10pm then 15 mins of your call (8:45-9:00) will be rated as peak and from 9:01 to 9:10 you will be rated 9 mins of off peak. Kind of confusing if you don't know which system you're in but soon enough we'll all be in Vision.
...
thats not correct either, I2k correctly calculates split billing.
...
it will be 45 minutes peak your call has to be claced after 9 the system only check the time the call was placed rather then when it ended.
...
The billing system splits the call, once it becames 9:01pm starts as OP...

Madman, that would be wrong in so many ways. First off, the billing system that takes it all as a lump depends on when you END the call, not when you start it. The billing system that doesn't lump the call will actually break it into a peak and off peak half. WOW. I would definitely be more careful before giving out completely incorrect information.
...
wrong, the system will split it so that 16 mins are peak, and 29 are offpeak.
