Reception & Sound Quality

Summary (I talk too much): What's the best Verizon phone for reception and sound quality. Price doesn't matter, nor do any other features.

My current phone has been slowly dying. Today the camera cover fell off--just a little thing--but I decided that it was the last straw.

So I've been looking at all the new Verizon phones, and it seems like every single one wants to do my dishes, but I can't tell which one will work best for actual voice communication 🙂 . Anyway, I've read good things about the LG VX8300 but I'd love some more feedback about the best Verizon phone with regards to reception and sound quality. Price doesn't matter--I'm fine with a $50 or $500 phone as long as it sounds g...

Yes, the 8300 is probably the best phone for reception in Verizon's current line up. Another good phone for reception is the Motorola E815, but they discontinued it, so it may be difficult to find. Those are the two best.

have had the LG 8300 for a few weeks now. My old LG dropped calls in certain places, this one has not dropped one call. Very clear sound. I liked the old black and white screen on the outside better though. It always had the time on and you could see it out doors.

Also, I need to activate the old tri=mode LG when leaving home on the weekends. Only two complaints about the 8300
