I have the Samsung a930 and have wondered how I can tell what frequency my phone is using. I live in a cellular/PCS area, which makes it difficult. I know when I go to my brother's place, I know his area is cellular only, and when I go anywhere in the Milwaukee area, it's PCS only. For Chicago, my phone most likely picks up a PCS frequency more than a cellular band frequency due to heavy usage in Chicago.
