Mobile Web Charges

When you use Mobile Web 2.0 on your phone, do they charge you per Kilobyte or does it come out of your minutes?

i dont have the $5/month web package.

if you have the proxied thing from ho-fo, then yes it comes out of your peak mins furing the week 6am-9pm, unlimited every other time...

if you're not paying $5 you don't get mobile web by default, you have to reconfigure your phone to use a proxy system other than VZWs which may violate the ToS...

Unless you have the $15 Vcast package, i dont think you can access mobile web without the $5 pack. But with the $5 mobile web, it uses your peak minutes unless it is a night or wkend then you can use it unlimited.

This will depend on what kind of phone you have. If you have a PDA, accessing the web without any package is kilobyte usage. If you have a regular phone, no package means you can not access the mobile web. The 5.00 package uses peak airtime.
