VX8600. Choco-flip. I've been waiting for a new LG that stood out. Thought about the Chocolate, but it's a little too "look-at-me" for my tastes. Don't get me wrong, it's an awesome phone, but doesn't work for me, personally.

have you tried it out at all besides just playing with it? my gf has it so i play with it all the time. i think its an awesome phone but nothing my 8300 cant do so im not going to get it..

i like the size though and how you can talk with the keypad closed. the voice quality is awesome as well.

I have. I work for the company so I've had some sit-down time with it. It's a good phone and I like it quite a bit, but I just don't need an MP3 player. Otherwise, it's just a phone with touchsensitive keys and a sliding form factor. While cool, I just don't want it enough.

Eh, that's just me.

I'm very anxious for the 9900 myself. I just hope the ringer is louder than it's predecessor. By the way; does anyone know the release date?

I'm waiting for the 9900 too. I've been through 4 9800's,software issues, falling apart(frus are a b#tch). Once you have a keyboard, how can you go to a phone without one?

I know that those who have the 9800 love it and that everyone seems excited about the 9900. But for someone who is looking for a phone with good reception, good call clarity and good BT, is it the right phone or should I look at or wait for something else. Thanks in advance.

? the chocolate and 9800 both get excellant reception and call clarity. Bluetooth should be good as well, the bluetooth on my chocolate is very clear, but i have heard people have had problems setting it up in their cars.

I am really not interested in the Choco. My interest is more with the 9900. Due to the style are there limitations for use as a phone(handheld). I do not text very often so the keyboard is not that important. Just looking for a solid BT phone.

that and the expandable memory (microSD) slot on the KRZR... I think... cant think of any other differences now... besides the KRZR k1m being smaller and having media playback buttons on the front...

Why do you love the 9800? How do you personally use it? Thanks!

Oh yeah, that is the phone I have currently and I like it a lot. Like any other phone it has its cons (the thickness of the phone), but other than that is perfect, I do a lot of texting, excellent reception, decent camera for a phone (my razor's was a little better tho), big screen on the inside and feels solid, good speakerphone and loud in general.
I am not sure on what you mean by "how do I personally use it" but hope this answered your questions.

my wife and I each got the cdm-9900 about 2 years ago (the last ones left in the whole state).

2 years later, the only complaint is that my wife dropped hers in the sink and it took 3 weeks to dry out. but once it dried out, it works great again.

she's up for NE2 in a week, but we're not gonna use it until the new water resistant/shock resistant (GZ?) comes out.

at which time, her old phone will become my spare, cause I'm NOT changing.
