Can someone give me a detailed step-by-step of "where/how" to load my ringtones (most are polyphonic TV show theme music, using MIDI format) up thru the time it is actually sent ?

I downloaded the ringtones from FreeRingers.net to my laptop, loaded them on the Transflash card with my card reader. But then I get stuck, as far as having the "specifics" as far as getting them loaded as an actual message, then how to send it so I can load it to the internal phone memory.

I didn't know this was possible. What phone do you have? Only thing I've been successful is setting my voice record on my a950 as ringtones, then I can use just about anything I want for ringers.

Thanks for responding.
Actually, it DOES work on the E815----i've read plenty of folks doing it with theirs'. I was just missing a few pieces of the puzzle, on how to do it.
and it's not that I can't afford $2.50.....it's just the idea of why would I throw away good $ when there's no need ?

ok thanks for the rant dad, the other poster put it for the samsung 950, I also know it can be done with the 8100 and 9800, I just didn't think you could do it with the 815, that is why i posted it, not to be an ass but I didn't think it could be done on that phone. If you put you had one of the above listed phones i would have took the time to give you the directions as well🙄
