Confused on what NE2 phone to get
Last week I got into a thread about the LG 8300 vs the Razor. I was 98.9% that I was getting the 8300. My NE2 is up 09/18 and I called VZW customer service last night about something different and the very knowledgeable rep said I should look at the Chocolate. He has it and loves it. I am not sure what to do. He has never lost a call and phone sounds great.

id deff say the chocolate is a great phone. my gf has one and i use it a lot....i have the 8300 myself. i like the chocolate bc it is light and small and has great call clarity. I also like how you can talk with the keypad closed. touch pad is not bad once you get used to it.
8300 is equally amazing. can't go wrong with either.

The Chocolate is all style and no substance. Where is the speakerphone, where is the flash?? I had the 8300 and wasn't happy with the reception or the bluetooth capabilities/voice command on it. it truly sucked!!
I swapped my 8300 out for a v3m razr and couldn't be happier. The reception is superior, the voice command works instantly, and the phone feels nice to the touch and is nice to look at (silver outside/black inside).
Sure it doesn't have a flash, it doesn't vib/ring (well mine does now), have an internal screen that is as good as the 8300, but I want a phone that works and will make calls well. I love making crystal clear calls with no bars showing.

I have the LG 8300 and I have never dropped a call.. I find the call clarity exceptional ... bluetooth works great... I love the stereo bluetooth which I believe the v3m lacks...
only thing I wish is that the antenna was internal...
To each his/her own... maybe you had a "bad" 8300....or maybe I had some bad RAZRs... I think they're both good phones...

I would go with LG 8300 because I prefer a clamshell over a slider form... also, the LG choco has no speakerphone as of yet...
