Need Advice
I currently have the LG VX9800 and am having nothing but problems with the phone of late. I just returned back to school and the phone will not work. The *228 to update roaming seems to make it worse. My roommate has the motorola 325 and never has problems so I know it's the area I'm in. My question is on waiting for the new line of phones to come or not? I don't know what verizon would be if anything. I was waiting to see the size of the new VX9900 but I just saw the pictures of the LG 8600. Need any and all advice. Thanks.

Heh, there's a known issue with the 9800 in regards to *228 overwriting something it shouldn't... Go to a corp store and ge tit reflashed manually and have them put the right PRL in it, then don't *228 again...
And realistically *228 doesn't do jack crap these days anyway...

That problem's been fixed for weeks now. *228 shouldn't be causing any problems anymore.

are you in a vzw native coverage area. if in extended network area. then *228 wont work.
