razr v3m
hey its time for an upgrade for me and i am wondering about the reception strength of the v3m razr. i will be upgrading from the samsung a670 and when i am at my home i often have no signal or one bar for a few minutes then back to no signal. i was wondering if anyone has gone from a phone that often has very weak signal in an area that they are in often to the v3m. im not really into the whole razr craze but if the reception is going to be better when i am at home ill jump on the wagon. sorry if this topic has been posted before but i did some searching and didnt find too much. thanks and please be honest đ

The v3m is a great phone and chances are you will have improved reception over the Samsung, although the 670a is also a great phone but sounds like its might have reached its shelf life. Anyways take advantage of your 15 day trial period and give it a go, the LG 8300 is another very strong contender in the reception dept, its been my best phone in ten years with the company. Good luck

i would say try the 8300 too. the razr is pimpp and all but i dont think it can knock down the 8300! awesome reception, battery life, and call clarity.
battery life on the razr isnt too great âšī¸

I'm going to have to agree with Gunny and Verizonplayah and say the 8300. The razr has decent reception from what i have seen but the 8300 has it all.
like gunny said use your 15 wfg, go into a store purchased your RAZR and try it out if you don't like it return it.

The choice between the two takes some review. Stereo BT would be nice. Size is nice. How much does one use the BT for talking. Type size. Display intensity. LOT of choices IMHO.
If one were able to buy one and borrow a demo phone for a few days to see how the performance is in HIS particular location. That'd be ideal. Family share plan......

Keep the 670 for a spare, it's got some nice things like automatic recieve level control (when whisper mode is acivated) and large enough type to read.
I went with the Razr V3m because of size over the 8300, and the fact that the 8300 has had a lot of Bluetooth complaints. (It may be fixed now.)
RF is very good with the RAZR.
The type size on the Razr is larger than the 8300 but the 8300 has a brighter display.
I use bluetooth 100% and have often run up 2Hrs and 55 minutes talk time on a battery.(slim battery, I keep a spare.)
I think the 8300 has stereo BT if you want for music. I use the wired set and have a 1GB micro SD card.
I usually keep the RAZR in my back pocket, shirt pocket, in a small plastic bag in the zipper pouch ...
