😢 Man I hate playing the waiting game!!!!!!!!!
...
i am playing a bit of a different waiting game. I just bought the K1m and love it. I am thinking though that the vx8600 might just end up being a better phone. I am hoping this release comes within my 15 days so that I can check out the 8600 and make a decision whether to exchange for it.
Dont get me wrong, the k1m is an incredible phone. I think that the flatness and width of the 8600 might bother me; I like the slimness of the k1m. The 65k resolution may also deterr me, I am assuming the 8600 will have the 256k. The external display on the 8600 will hopefully be crisper and brighter.
So verizon reps, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get this out sometime soon!

This whole thing has got to remind us of the Audiovox CDM-9900 circus. Does anyone remember that over-anticipated mess. Remember how for months we waited and waited and still waited some more? Then when the phone did arrive it was sooooo, "sooooo late", the other models had already passed it by. My 80+ year old parents still have rotary dial Western Electric phones in their house that are almost 45 years old. Today we measure the life of a cell phone in months rather than decades. I will never again get wrapped up in anticipating the release date of any phone. 😲
