How about Video on the 9900 Comng Out
So if anyone knows will the video on the 9900 be longer than 15 secs like it is on the 9800.
Also will it play mp3s or just WMA files.

the past 2 lg vcast phones have the capability to record more than 15 secs of video (8300/ 8500(chocolate)). also both phones will read mp3's and wma's so i all likely hood the 9900 will be the same.

Yes and Yes.
All Vcast Music phones going forward will have the ability to play MP3's. When the first ones came out it was WMA only, this was not due to VZW trying to cripple it and make people go thru vcast music but rather due to software limitations.
those limitations have been resolved now so in the future all vcast music phones going forward = WMA and MP3

Verizon had an agreement with microsoft to restrict phones to wma for one year when vcast music launched to help boost microsoft player and windows media player's music stores, including vcast music store through win media player. We are out of that agreement so now they can offer both on phones again. Atleaste that is what i was told, but you could be right it might have just all been Verizon's fault and that is the load they feed us.
