Alltel's Chocolate Like KRZR commerical
I just saw a commerical for the KRZR and with the Goldfrap music (same group who did Chocolate's commerical) playing, colors, and effects you would think it was a VZW commerical until the very end where Alltel's name appears. Great marketing.

I agree with you. I was wondering if anyone else was going to comment on this. I honestly thought it was a vzw commercial until the alltel symbol came one. It is essentially the same commercial. I think that Alltel will steal some market share from some of the big boys. I think their network quality will help them.

I would think that VZW might try to thump Alltel for the Ad since VZW and Alltel work so closely together, I think that Alltel has a quality network and VZW might end up buying/merging them eventually.

I believe VZW won't buy out Alltel for a while. VZW is probably looking for bragging rights that Cingular has with the carrier with the most customers. It's a close race between the 2 and if VZW buys Alltel they would win Alltel's customer base and beat Cingular, but they wouldn't have done it on their own. Plus that awesome Churn # we see every quarter for VZW would go away as they scramble to intergrate Alltel. Plus Does Alltel have an area that VZW does not cover already? I figure smaller carriers like Leap/Cricket or US Cellular would be bought out 1st.
