9900 Release Date!!!!
I was on Howard Forums and someone said they had seen internal info that the release date had been pushed back to Nov. 13. Is that accurate? I need a new phone with call clarity, reliability and BT without quirks but I am getting anxious. I do not hate the VZW UI but do not love it and music is not important. Was sort of waiting to compare the 8600/9900/KRZR. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

The 9900 will be worth the wait 😉

Thanks! Is it worth the wait if I do very little texting? Plus I am a little apprehensive with the style since I have had a flip since the v60 first came out.

its up to you if you can get away from flips, but yes imo the 9900 will be well worth the wait even if you're not a text maniac.

Check out the a990. It seems that everyone overlooks this phone lately. It is still very small, same as the vx8100, but is PACKED full of features. Everything about this phone is great, and I decided not to wait for the 9900 because I dont like the size of it, and the bulk of it.

Thanks, I will check it out.

Do you think the Nov. 13 release date is accurate? Any chance it will be out sooner?

I've seen the date change so much, that Nov 13th is just another guess. I do believe that VZW will have this out before Black Friday for the holiday.

Try not to get too excited. Some of you might remember the Audiovox CDM-9900 circus. A lot of people got rapped up over a endless release date that dragged on for months. I am convinced Verizon knows that for everyday this phone is delayed, it's one day less in the marketing life cycle of this phone. Other phones will pass this unreleased LG VX-9900 by if feet drag too long. So go ahead Verizon take all the time in the world. It will cost you another heavily discounted phone that will discontinue sooner rather than later. I have seen this scenario play out so so so many times before. The market and trends move faster than one can say, "Can you hear us now".
