How stingy would Verizon be?

My NE2 is up December 5th. I am looking to get the vx8600 as my next phone. If by some chance the phone comes out before my date, what are the chances that Verizon would let me upgrade? It's already almost November and I have no plans to cancel my service.

you obviously do not work for verizon wireless becuase you do not know what you are talking about.

he can call customer care 12 times in a row and all 12 will tell him the same, he will be eligable for ne2 in december and no earlier.

maybe you are a customer and an exception was made once for you to get it a little early, this is something that hardly ever happens and only for a good reason (like if we messed up and insurance fell of or something).

I have to comment on this. If you ask for a ne2 upgrade early you can recieve this almost gaurenteed. Normally a month early. So if your NE2 date is say Dec5 you can get your NE2 threw "customer service" Nov 5th. If you get the right rep we can even push it as much as 6-7 weeks early. Anything earlier and your looking to lose your NE2 discount.

You will have to wait to use your ne2, if you are on a plan of 59.99 or higher you can early upgrade when it comes out and get it at the promo price.

Ya you could call into customer service and ask to get it early and maybe you'll get someone new that will let you do it.. but the policy is every 22 months or an early upgrade if you on a 59.99 pp or higher..but who wants to be that guy? If you work in retail that guy sucks..
