There are two companies that are starting to stand out and break away from the pack as far as ability to change and adapt to the changing world. Those two companies are T-mobile who is only a few years behind Verison. And of course Verison itself. Verison will remain strong throught the next twenty years easily. And T-Mobile hasnt even hit there stride yet they are still a teenager in a adult world. But in there defence does anybody remember when Verison was T-mobiles age thy were horrible. So I say to Verison keep up the good work. And look out because in another 5-8 years T will be right on your tail network wise and for the network that will be a huge problem. 😎

Your opinion is great, but let us look back at the opinions of people 5-8 years ago with those carriers. T-mobile? Verizon? Non existent. ATT? GTE? yes. mergers and acquisitions, but what will be? It's a competitive industry, with constant change. What we know and understand of the industry today will be significantly different in 2011 or 2014. Lets just hope the FCC and Feds don't get involved and try to regulate or moderate this industry more than they already do to continue the changes we have seen. Lets all start pushing for LDP (local device portability) so that we can choose the plans, not the devices.
