How did they break? If they did not break from physical damage, it should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty, so call up Motorola.

you have a year from the date of purchase to exchange as long as:

there is NO liquid or physical damage to the phone.

it was purchased at a vzw store and NOT ebay or other unauthorized seller.

give customer care a call

As long as it was purchased through VZW (online or store) or one of their authorized retailers, it qualifies. Just run into a corporate store and they should swap it out as long as all the criteria are met.

You can purchase a brand new Verizon phone from anywhere and the Manufacturers warranty is one year from date of purchase/activation. So the people that are saying this does not apply to Ebay, you are incorrect.

warranty on ebayed phones are no good. warranty is not transferable.so if vzw was to check and see that phone wasnt bought by you or me at vzw store or authorized retailer. then they dont have to honor the warranty. so if you do it and a month down the line they check up on phone. they could charge you retail price on phone they sent you or gave you as a replacement. and i have seen this happen lately. 3 people i know got it done to them.

Like I said, if the phone is "Brand New", as in never been used, never been activated on an account then it has a manufacturers warranty of 1 year. There is no warranty to transfer if the phone has never been activated.

So you can buy a "Brand New" phone off of ebay and still acquire the Manufacturers warranty of 1 year.

yeah and phones from wirefly/radio shac/ and other places come with the same waranty. The phone may have a waranty but that does not mean Verizon corp will honor and fru it. AS an agent we can only have phones purchased through Verizon Fru'd. SO if you get it from ebay and it screws up you might be mailing it to manufacturer and waiting about 6 weeks to get it back.
