Simple UI Changes...

There are some simple UI changes that Verizon could impliment that would make it a LOT easier on the eyes and would keep users from other carriers from laughing ;)


1. Get rid of that blue bar at the bottom for alarm, texts, missed calls, voicemail, etc... Put it up top where it belongs and where every other phone UI keeps it.

2. Speaking of that. The wallpaper should be stretched out to fit the whole screen with the icons on TOP of the wallpaper. (In other words, get rid of the bard no matter what color they are.)

3. Flash UI themes are cool. But if yer going to do them, follow thru. Dont just show the initial menu using the theme, and then show the submenu's in standard format.

4. On phones with smaller displays forget about ...

One other thing. Put some color in those Icons.. not just one solid color. Kinda boring ;)

Why the compromise?

Just ask Verizon to install the original manufacture UI and get rid of the uuuugly Verizon UI 😈

I think there is a 0-1 % chance that Verizon will go that route. LOL.

I'm surprised they still let LG use their own UI on the VX3450.

Maybe we can all switch over to AMPD Mobile once they get some more phones ;)

Same network but not the same roaming agreements, Ampds coverage is VZWs actual "network" (i.e. enhanced coverage area) ampd doesnt have all the roaming agreements with other carriers like vzw does

Are you referring to analog roaming.
I have taken my (all digital) Verizon phone from Delaware to Tennessee and a few other state's and I have never seen it "roam" or go off network.
