Most important question that I have to ask you, is how much you are willing to spend?

I can say that I have been with GTE/Verizon for 13 years and seen all the phone that come through here, if you text alot and use internet, you might want to take advantage of the Q right now for $100 can't beat that, but if you don't need a PDA type phone the ngo with the LG VX 9900. check it out very nice, little more money. The 9900 is more of a camera/text/phone combo. hope this helps.

Very true. Good input. Problem is, I do not like the Q. I think it is a cheap device and people can do better if they want to stay with Verizon and use their data.

And the phone responds to you slowly after a while just like the Treo700w.

Very true... My schoolmate tells me he likes it and I was like are you out of your mind? It is very cheap and not a good pda device. I was like well it is only $100 so I was like you pay for what you get. I suggested to him go get the Samsung SCH-i730or the XV7600. he was like nope it is too expensive. I was like again; you pay for what you get.

Didn't know if I should start a new thread or just add to this one. 🤭 I am looking for a new verizon phone. I currently have a Motorola V710. I like it alot but understand that it is starting to get old. I have an extended life battery that is starting to wear down, and a 512 miniSD card with mp3 songs that I just can't figure out how to make into ringtones. I was wanting a new phone. I need one with a rather large screen, (old eyes) Camera, capability of ringtones, music and quality RX... I am in some fringe areas here in Raleigh, NC Hope I didn't just mess up this thread, thanks

both great phones, but for the $$$ i would look at the XV6700. The Q is sort of limited since its a smartphone and the i730 is extremely old and it feels like a brick. the 6700 has WiFi, slide out QWERTY keyboard, 1.3 megapixel camera, Windows mobile 5, touchscreen, Bluetooth, and a miniSD slot*

*i cant remember if its miniSD or microSD. pretty sure its miniSD. 👀

Go with the LG VX9900 (codenamed enV). Gonna be some cost but if you have the xtra cash it should be out by then.....
