Total activations for the month?

How's everyone doing so far? It seems we're slower than we should be. Anybody else care to share? 👀

Agreed. We have started out very slow. Today is the first decent day I have worked. Some of our stores have been killing it though.

hell yea i'm only at 35 new and 34 renew and i need 85 new and 80 renew

Hey all, this has been my 11th day in sales (Retail Sales Rep) after being a CSR for about 1 year now.

What are *YOU* doing to increase your new activation rate? What are you doing to hit a multiplier? I understand that the pay structure has dramatically changed since August when Verizon changed the way that commissions are paid via commissionable upgrades vs. new acts, etc. 😢 😢 😢

With other forms of retail locations (agents, Walmart, Target stores, etc...including online service setup); it appears that much more difficult to hit 100% of new activation quotas.

I understand that all at VZW took a hit on pay back in August 2006, with the new commission structure in place now.

Please reply and give me some sugg...

I am on pace to hit my quota this month, but then again, the end of the month will be the busiest. My biggest suggestion is push for the KPIs (data, accessories, high price plans). Have good KPIs is far better then having good numbers with bad KPIs. The data and accessories are where you can really make some money. Also for a little help, look up the Employee End User Enrollment M&P to find the companies that we can offer employee discounts in store. Example: Verizon Landline...FedEx...and others. Talk to people who work at those places and give out business cards and attract them to the store. Free activations and Corporate pricing is a cheap way to get some new adds.
