It's not such a dumb thread. I mean it's kinda hittin the nail on the head as to what this forum's for. It's here to discuss Verizon as a company, both likes and dislikes. With all the VZW employees that visit, there HAVE to be some dislikes somewhere, especially in the ranks. It's easy, I'll start.
As a consumer I don't like several things about VZW. I'm not a big fan of their price structure, I can get more minutes elsewhere for the same price. I'm sure coverage is better at VZW in some areas, but at least I don't have to deal with more than one map at all the other carriers. And while I believe that phone selection is an individual thing, I really don't like what they have to offer me. I want a higher end phone with BT that'll ...

hell yes! As for the v60....anyone's guess is as good as mine. I think maybe the styling was so ahead of it's time when it was released that a lot of people went for it, it looks great on your belt if you're a lawyer or a doctor, stands out and says "look I'm too important to hide my cell in my pocket". Size is a good factor too.

It is hard to believe that you are in it for "phones first and service second". There must be a Service threshold that any carrier must meet before you would consider them. I appreciate that you want a phone that meets your requirements but if the carrier did not have good coverage in the area of your calling than the phone is irrelevant.
On the other hand; if you had multiple acceptable carriers in terms of coverage then you can certainly go about choosing based on phone availability.

well one thing that rubs me the wrong way is when customers don't use common sense...case in point:
Customer calls in about the volume of her phone, she got it all the way up and she can't hear it when she's in her car with the radio on, so I say "hey you could also put the phone on vibrate and then you can feel when somebody calls you", she then says "well if I put it on vibrate I usually can't feel it"
"Well if thats the case the you have 2 options...either place the phone on your lap while you're driving so you can see out of the corner of your eye that it lights up when it rings or turn down the radio"

Actually. You really want to know how sales are. Absolutely Horrible. This is the slowest month i have ever seen in Cell Phone sales. I am not even close to my quota. I dont know, Since last month was bad, and this month, I am starting to feel like management is going to set an example with someone. and we might be competing for the same jobs.

Upper management completely lost touch with what it was like to actually be doing patient care and did stupid crap like only posting 4 nurses on the entire ICU, including open heart patients.

where do you get not wasting it? my hospital management spent $7 mill. on new construction. That construction's wiring is faulty, the floors aren't level, and the roof fell in within 6 months. I went up to ICU to get a heart patient one day and found it was raining in the brand new hallway. I say they should have spent $8 mill. and done it right! Sounds like a waste to me.
