no a waterproof phone can't be...apparently. and the consumers who ACTUALLY need a phone could most likely care less about glitzy-ness...to each his own...if u want style, don't get it...if you want function, look into it

I agree. This phone could be the answer for hubby. He is a concrete contractor and goes through at least 3 phones a year, due to water damage and dropping.

Personally, I like its style. I just think that the real problems with this phone are that the camera is waaaaay too slow, there isn't enough internal memory, and there's no way to hook it up with a computer. I can see why they wouldn't put a microSD slot in a waterproof phone, but atleast compensate for it with an IR port and give the phone enough memory to hold a bank of songs. If they'd have corrected those 3 features, I'd have bought this phone in a heartbeat.
