Is VZW the only carrier to offer spanning? I think it is, but please correct me if I'm wrong...

Spanning is when a call starts during 1 time frame, carries over to another time frame, but is charged accordingly, not under strictly 1 of them. IE. I start a call at 8:49 pm and end it at 9:11 pm. the call would be billed under VZW billing system as 11 minutes peak, and 11 minutes off peak.

That is spanning, and something VZW does. I have seen it on many bills. It is maked as a P* in the usage type field of a detailed bill copy.

You should try replying to the post; try not bashing other people. You should come to realize that no one is as smart as you.

And when you're "pretty" sure, how sure? 5%?

Sprint doesn't do spanning. That's how I'm sure. You can use that to your advantage though...
