Does anyone have a friendly opinion on this matter? I currently have had the 8600 for 2 days and I am not sure if I will keep it. So far it's a gorgeous phone but I have had bad reception and delayed text messages this weekend. I also have never had a motorola phone before so the comparison of LG vs. Moto would be awesome too.

8600. The Moto is GARBAGE. If the 8600 isnt working out, try the 8300 out.

The Lg's pick up just as well as any internal antenna Moto will(razr/krzr) If you switch you will pay more and loose, a better outside display, flash ui(krzr has fixed, boring verizon ui) I would keep the lg.

IMO LG and Moto are by far the two best manufacturers carried by Verizon. For some reason, there seems to be a lot of irrational Moto haters on Phonescoop. Moto is like Microsoft in that there are haters of these companies that will never say anything positive about them. For this reason, you can’t always count on negative comments about Moto being unbiased (no flames please, I’m not saying this is the case on this thread).

I don't have personal experience with KRZR, but the RAZR is a very good phone. Very solid, almost indestructable, and excellent reception for an internal antenae. If the KRZR is a technology step up from RAZR, it should be a very good phone. If the 8600 isn’t working out, give KRZR a try. Motos are probably best phones...
