phonebook transfer options

I just got the 8600 and want to know the easiest way to transfer my phonebook from the 8500 on it without having to go to a vzw store. I have BITPIM but am not sure if it supports the 8600 yet. Any suggestions are appreciated…

Pair the phones to each other and send vCards. You can do up to 10 at a time and they transfer almost instantly

reactive your old phone, run backup assistant on it, then reactivate your new phone and run the program again.

register online at verizonwireless.com once you do so you can download backup assistant for free. you will have to activate your old equipment for the initial download, which you can also do for free at verizonwireless.com. once you've downloaded it on your old handset you'll want to switch service back to your new handset and download the application again, in doing so it will synch the contacts saved from the old handset in the initial download. understand that when you go to download the application it will indicate a $1.99 subscription cost, but trust per your registering online at vzw.com that fee will be waived per the new Worry Free G...
