? It is not built to military specs...nor is it in any water water resistant...

But it is a great phone. Reception is second to none. If you don't want the video/music player/etc...then this is an excellant phone to have. Doesn't vibrate and ring at the same time and you cannot turn off the low battery sound even in silent mode.

Can't really comment on the 325i since we just got ours in today. But as for the 325, good phone. I work for an indirect agent location in central Illinois and this is one of our better phones. Never had any come back with problems, very durable, great signal. My boyfriend carries one and he's terribly hard on phones (ran over his previous one with a combine) and always finds himself in low signal areas. He's never dropped a call and has yet to break this one (knock on wood).

The only upgrade with the 325i is that it's a different color and has bluetooth. It's not hard to operate, and Motorola has improved their charge port over older models.

I'd recommend the phone, but that's just me. if nothing else, get one and try it and if...

The 325 is a good basic phone and I'm sure it will meet your needs, I've owned the phone but don't believe it to have the voice quality that the LG 8300 does...the 8300 is very loud and clear and I believe its the better choice. just my opinion.

8300 is good, but cant justify the extra money.....particulary since I wouldnt use any of the extra functions. I travel alot and I am in and out of the car several times a day

verizon has that first in first out rule....they wont sell this to me until the stock on the 325 is sold.....kinda sucks if you ask me.

no...its not....I went into Verizon wanting the 325i...they convinced me to take the 8300 instead. I returned the 8300 the next day wanting the 325i....it was then that they said they could not sell it until all 325 stock was sold out. they extended the 15 day return policy until the 325i was available.

the 325 is a geat phone, great battery, great reception, excellent display, feels solid in your hand. The addition of bluetooth on the 325i just makes it that much better. If you don't care about vcast, high resolution cameras, expandable memory and just want a good solid phone you can't pass on this. I personally would carry this phone before going back to my razr!
