Any news on this phone??
I remember reading something about it a while ago.

While Pantech handsets are usually relegated to the low-end level here in the States, they DO make very high quality high end phones and this is/was supposed to be one of them.

Looks like it has an extendable antennae like the E815 from Motorola and it runs Windows Mobile 5.0 and not the Verizon UI.

Anyone have any news on it?? Or is it a dead fish already??

any more out on this phone? i have been to several vz stores and they know nothing about it? I have used the MS smartphones on other carriers and though the gsm carriers were horrid the phone (sold as the Audiovox 5600) is a great device.

thanks for any input you have.

Howard forums has a long thread on this, www.phonearena.com has a story on it.

hopefully soon, I've been waiting for a verizon windows smartphone for years. GSM has CDMA beat on this by years, if Cingular had anything resembling customer service I probably would have jumped ship years ago.
