Sprint74

Is it really that good? I am concerned with graphics/resolution on the inner screen, does verizon use the same old red UI, and battery life....I am thinking of switching so any help is appreciated 😎

The phone is not web enabled its basically just a huge LG and for those who like to text...getting this phone and giving up WEB and ON Demand is like taking a step back into the early 90's.

the inside display is the same resolution as your precious blade you love up, LCD (Color TFT/TFD)Colors: 262,144 (18-bit). On the phones with flash ui you can get rid of the red, even if you don't use on of the flash ui's it will allow you to change eri banner and color. The battery is supposed to kick ass

yeah i do love my blade with the extended battery but everyone says the 9900 is so cool i was thinking og switching...guess i'll have to go into a store and see for myself....but how is the build on the 9900? is it solid and not flimsy like the razr?

It's very solid. Just check it out for yourself. We can sit here and debate all day on whether or not you like the phone. The bottom line is that you need to make the decision for yourself based on some personal experience with the phone. Just go and check it out, then you will be able to make an informed decision.

Quick question, what do you think about the bulge for the cam? Does it affect the way the phone sits flat while typing?

do you really type on it while its sitting on a table? seems awkward.

The build quality is fine on the 9900 I wouldn't concern myself with that, but just the freedom you'll be giving up by having verizon- commie UI, restricted WEV etc. Sprint has unlimited WEB and the coolest phones, but hey if thats what you want enjoy.

I really dont think Sprint's phones are any better...yeah they have cheap data, but the coverage is suspect in a lot of areas and the customer service is horrible! A real cell company is more than just a one trick pony. Verizon is a great company, and quite frankly, I actually like the UI. I can do everything I need to do, and its very easy to navigate. Even if Verizon didn't have the UI, LG would still use it, cause it was originally an LG UI.

Actually Chris I think you are just repeating what you've heard, I call Sprint CS all the time with NP they might have sucked at one time but I'm not experiencing any of those rumors. And as far as coverage that is always a lame debate because as we all know its location debatable- but Sprint is building out like crazy now they are doing it allot faster do to their merger- they don't have to wait on permits they can just throw up a CDMA signal on a Nextel tower which they are doing at a rapid pace...plus we all know verizon and sprint roam of each other.

Sprint has more spectrum and roaming agreements then anymore- plus wimax and 2.5

They roam off each other, eh? Not always the case. Call it location debatable if you want, but I was out in western PA (close to Pittsburgh) with 3 people. Two had Sprint. Two had Verizon. Guess who had service and who didn't. I'll give you a hint, it rhymes with horizon 😎

And there are many stories where it ends on the opposite foot, if that was really the case 🙄 I would have just hit my short cut key on my phone and jumped into roam- but I've traveled all across this country and only had to do that once.

trollytrollytroll, get a life. The 9900 doesn't have locked up ui, it is customizable from the color layout theses and banner, You also get video wallpaper. I just want a good phone that works at my house, Sprint can't offer that, well the second part anyway 🙄

It still uses Verizon's standard interface, just has a couple of themes added.

He asked about the display ahole! And what is the difference, well lets see, the blade's battery sux, the menus are slow, the camera is awful, no expandable memory, you have to pay for that web that most people don't want to, and the obvious no keyboard, so why don't you hike your ass back over to the sprint forum and stop trolling like a twelve year old

If it helps I had the blade for 6 months and I have the 9900 right now. I like them both. The 9900 has a crazy good battery life, I can't get it to even go down one bar.
