Qwest and ATT purchase

I took that future reading training; I'm not as good as phonepimp but I can see that VZW purchasing Qwest ends up being the same as Cingular purchasing ATT. Helped the network out a little but didn't provide 100% coverage, customer base grew a little but then dramatically dropped off because of billing and network issues.

Anyone else take the future training class--next post will be about which phones are coming out.

Qwest is HARDLY the scope of the ATTWS buyout. All VZW gains from Qwest is towers...the customers stay on Sprint. Qwest has nowhere NEAR the network size of ATTWS.

No carrier will EVER achieve 100% coverage... it's geographically impossible using the tower system. Now if wireless goes SATELLITE, then it could happen.

Man forget satelite...

The cell phone companies should figure out a way to get your own BRAIN to fuction as a tower, that way you will always and indefinitly have 100% coverage, then they can charge you for it.... 🤣

I'm waiting for the day the government puts bar codes on our necks & cell transcievers in our skulls. It'll work through bone induction & draw energy from your biobattery, a la The Matrix. Then they'll slap a "Made by Halliburton" label on your butt, lol

Actually, they also pick up some licenses to sell service in previous areas where they relied on extended networks.

At least in my area (I'm from Seattle), that affects Longview, WA. Coos Bay area in Oregon (finally!) and I believe there are a few other markets as well.
