How far off the East Coast does Verizon have service? As in, if I'm boating, how far can I go? Bahamas? Bermuda?
Is there anyway to tell?

I am not certain about this, but if it's anthing like the west coast that cell phone coverage would get a greater range from whatever towers are closest to the coast.
The average land based tower has a five mile range? Lacking any obtructions between the nearest land based tower to your boat the range would be greater. But how many cell phone towers are located along the shore line?
