QWERTY vs. T9

Wireless Buddy

Dec 4, 2006, 7:55 PM
I will be using email via Mobile Web 2.0 on my new phone. Considering a LG 9900 vs. many others. Which is really better- QWERTY or T9? and how much? Worth the extra $100 or so?? Any input is needed.

me neither but i can get into email.

QWERTY would be cool but i dont know if its worth the extra $$ and the added size.

I don't think it would be I spend enough time in front of my computer, I'm not really a need email on the go guy.

If I do it would be for the full on data package, not VCAST.

I have the 9800 and use gmail, and I love the keyboard, I just ordered the 9900 tonight and can't wait to get it, I personally think it is faster but in the end it's your preference.

Well when you think about it logically you are still pressing a button 1 time to get 1 character whether its combined or a QWERTY.

You're right the reason I like it because when I email I don't feel like adding words to the t9 all the time it gets to be a pain.

After trying both the 9800 and 9900 i prefer t9. I can type much faster with it then typing on a full keyboard. however if you like qwerty than try the 9900 it as a great keypad.
