Sending ringtones via PIX message
Why do some ringtones I send myself sound muffled and others sound clear?? It's pretty much 2/3 muffled and 1/3 clear. Are there size requirements and legnth requirements?
For example I send myself a song that was 30 seconds in length and it was muffled. I cut it down to 17 seconds and it was clear. However on another song I sent a file that was 12 seconds and it was muffled.
Is there a perferred mp3 cutter to use??

I have found that in order for my ringtones to work the size has to be about 325 kb or less.

I use iTunes to cut the song clips. They're 35 seconds and sound crystal clear. You have to play around with the settings to get it right, but it's worth it when you hear how they sound.
