your opinion asap please!!!

wanting to get my nephew(hes only 11 years of age) a phone thats got a keyboard so he can instant message and email, however no phone calls(that what his mother and father said). ANY suggestions?

Like I said in the sprint forum you can get one with a keypad. And I believe verizon has this too just restrict the phone to outgoing only to 911 and special numbers. Like home and his parents cell phones. And all he will be able to do is what is allowed!
