I just purchased the Q, but I am curious if anyone has any information about Verizon carrying the Pearl..especially with the new leadership. Any information would be great! Thanks in advance.

Yup, the New CEO is making drastic changes. We are going to change the name of the company to AT&T, buy out Vodafone, switch to GSM and launch the BB Pearl all on Jan 1st. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Ok, so how was that better at answering a question than a so called "troll" posting?

But yeah, but what did it accomplish that a so called "troll" could have done?

I didn't bash a carrier in my post, nor did I make fun of the original poster. It was just a joke. Some people get it.

No I got the reference, especially the changing name to AT&T, I have heard rumblings but still its not ok to bash a business and its practices but it is to mock someone with an actual inquiry with your own repsonse, unrelated to what the person had to say? I am just curious as to why that is all.

our contract with BB does not involve multimedia devices. because alot of government agencies use verizon BB's and cant have cameras.

Yeah, what market group would VZW market this to considering you will need the $44.95 or $24.95 Data plan with any BB right off the rip.

Just because they offer the phone, doesn't mean that GOV agencies have to buy it...I think this phone would do fine....and who knows, maybe they will release this phone and announce lower data prices 🙂

Personally, if Verizon did offered this phone I would pay a ridiculous amount of money to get it... I saw it at a T-mobile kiosk the other day it is amazing. 🤤

But there is no compromise on the service and coverage... because in the end its a phone.... for phone calls.
