It depends on how much you compress the files... on a 1gb you can get between 250-500 songs depending on compression... BTW, you can get a 2gb for the 8300...

You can either purchase the Verizon Music Essentials kit... the software comes with the cable to transfer music to phone...or you can simply by a USB SD-card reader/writer and simply plug your microSD into it and then plug the reader to your USB port... then just simply locate the removeable storage drive on 'My Computer' and drag the files into your 'My_Music' folder...
...
thanx for the tip...so the you actually dont need the music esstential kit? you can just use a usb cord and just drag into 'My_Music' folder? whats the differance between the 2 methods??? which is the best and quickest way??
...
The USB cord is needed with the music essentials kit.. and NO you dont need that KIT... the other method doesnt involve any cords... it involves an SD card reader that plugs into your USB slot... once you plug it in, you open up that particular removeable drive in your 'My Computer' and just drag the files in or out... very easy... you can get a really good SD card reader for $19.99 or even less...

Might be obvious to some.. but -
If you have a photo printer, you can use that as most of them have a card reader built in.. Just buy a Micro SD card that has the adapter to convert it to standard SD.
