Click here for Verizon Western US Coverage Maps
Here are good and bad points of Verizon Wireless in the Rocky Mountain states:
1. Price: Pros: Verizon is fairly competitive with price plans, and meets the competition head-to-head with promotions. Considering Verizon's extensive coverage, they offer very good value value. Cons: Verizon isn't a leader in giving the most minutes for the dollar.
2. Coverage: Pros: Verizon is quickly becoming the coverage 'king' in the West. Having the largest number of licenses in the area helps. They are improving their coverage in many areas. #8 is incorrect...when changing a rate plan that new rate plan does not retro back to the beginning of the billing cycle, it starts at midnight the night you change it there for prorating you on the old plan as well as the new...so if you are way over on your minutes chances are you will not save money but the CSR should be able to break down the options available for you so that you choose the most cost effective option available for you. At least it's that way here in the Midwest...

I have changed my rate plan many times since I have had VZW ans it has been changed retroactivley back to the start of that billing cycle as described. I'm in CO. I have done this with both my plan and my wife's.

As far as I was aware VZW has only 2 billing systems now both of which automatically break up the billing cycle depending on when you change it...again this is info from the midwest...now let mer ask when was the last time you changed your rate plan?
...
some time this year (maybe five months ago?)
...
Well if thats the case good for you but Midwesterns beware!

I checked further and I beleive you are correct. The change went through in January. If I did get retroactive adjustments it may have been a special accomodation from a manager (we had a lot of adjusting to do).
Thanks for staying on top of things. I informed the original poster of the correction. 😁

Pplan changes "Can" be made retroactive to the beginning of the bill cycle depending on which billing system your account is located in. The decision to actually make the change retroactive is totally up to the representative... IE..South area cust and West area customers price plan changes go into effect the day of the change. Northeast area customers price plan changes go into effect at midnight
...
Midwest customers plans take effect as of midnight as well
