Call Blocking
When is VZW going to address the fact that we need to be able to block calls from certain numbers and/or "private" numbers?
With more and more people using cell phones as their primary or only phone we need to be able to have this option.
I personally miss the ability of my land line to be able to block blocked numbers.
Any VZW guys out there know if something is in the works and if there is, how far off is it from being implemented?

I'm embarrassed to say I don't think you can. You can restrict your caller ID on outgoing calls by prefacing the number with *67 but as of now, you can't block all incoming numbers (at least that I am aware of). However manual-intensive the process is, by disabling the auto-answer feature of your handset, you can accomplish something similar to that by ignoring incoming calls from the offending number. Not the solution you were hoping for, I'm sure.

I know you currently cannot block certain numbers or blocked numbers from your phone.
I called VZW CS and asked them, they said if it was a certain number that I didn't want to answer I could assign it a special ring tone so I would know not to answer, or just ignore the call when it rings. I already do that, I don't want to have to do that at all.
They said the only other solution would be to provide me with a new phone number. That's not really an option for me.
