Verizon RAZR MAXX
In an October 16, 2006 post here at phonescoop, they said that the Verizon v3 maxx will in fact be coming to verizon. Does anyone know if it will come before June 2007 that is when I am set for an upgrade. If it does not come out before then I was thinking about getting the LG 8600 or the SLVR(when it comes out)

there really isnt any info out for the maxx right now...just keep an eye out for any relevant posts. June is a long ways away, who knows.

Any new news onthe MAXX????? Very intersted in purchasing and am due for an upgrade but if verizon seriously isn't going to get any good phones,I seriously (as much as I disliked them before) am thinking about Cingular (the new at & t--maybe it will be better?) so that I can get the IPHONE!

at&t is still Cingular. Just a new name.
SBC (which owns Cingular) bought out the original AT&T. So AT&T no longer exists. But since the AT&T name is so well known, SBC decided to change its name to at&t. Then since they own Cingular, decided to change its name to at&t also for the same reason.

i agree....the razr maxx would probably bring me back to verizon....any possible release dates?

the Maxx is definately coming to verizon. if you check their current rebate form (1/16/07-2/19/07) you'll see it is covered along with the SLVR L7c. i'm thinking they wouldn't offer it on the rebate if it wasn't going to be carried. i still haven't seen it available yet though. i'm waiting too, my upgrade date was 2/2/07.

From What I have read on hofo some with very reliable sources my guess is end of this month first week of March. Slvr maybe next week.
