So long to the wireless world
Alright everyone, I am no longer going to be working in the wireless business, Management and sales have caused me to have to move on. I will miss everyone. I might be back if I get a new job(on the hunt like Disturbed). But this time, it will definately be corporate. i am tired of this 3rd party crap. Well, i will see you guys later.

have fun hunting. thankfully I've just found two options. One with an Exclusive Cingular Agent, and the other (temporary though it is) as a medical assistant. I'll probably end up goin with the Cingular agent. The med. assist. pays more, but being temporary has no benefits, which I need.
I hope the job market is better there in Fayetteville than it is up here around Greensboro. Ya might try Monster.com, they got a few bites for me pretty quickly.

Actually, I am going to be going back to school in Jan, and i will most likely be moving to Raleigh, or the somewhere in the Triangle, I will probably fill out my apps for up there. I dont know, It might be hard getting my money right to go up there now. But really, the hell with Fayetteville, Let the GI's have it. I need a town that is a little more than just pawn shop, strip club, pawn shop, strip club, pawn shop, strip club. So, i will be out of here soon.

Once you get to Raleigh, look up Alltel. They have some labs there and they might be interested, depending on your background.

I was actually looking at that. I sell Alltel right now, and really i like the company. I have the experience i have sold every carrier That NC has except Verizon. I have been doing this for close to 2 years. I wouldnt mind working for them at all.

I'm against NASCAR actually. I grew up in Martinsville, VA so the NASCAR track bein just down the road made me despise racing. Unless you're locked on corporate, there are a few Cingular agents like Pacifica Wireless (the one that just offered me a spot in Greensboro) that have quite a few stores in Raleigh.

I am not opposed to going indirect again, but i would like to state the working for one Carrier makes everything much clearer. There is no benefits that you can make exceptions on. policy is policy. plus it is much easier to keep up with what a carrier is doing when you only have to worry about 1 instead of 5 plus Dish Network. I found quite a few jobs open in Raliegh actually. I know Nextel was hiring an assistant store manager, and both VZW and Cingular (bot corporate) had rep postions open. With the experience under your belt you'd probably have a better chance than I did. If you're in Raliegh the Brier Creek shopping area is a DAMN FINE place to work. Plenty of business and a seemingly endless number of places to go on lunch break. Plus my gf and I drop thru there when we're in town to see her parents (or when she's there for the summer) all the time.

Yeah, that sounds nice. I looked on there web page, and really didnt see to much for Raleigh. But you never know. I would never work for Nextel though. With the business accounts that they stole from me, and there horrible FDT system, you can count on me living in a box on the side of the road before i go work for them.
