Analog Roaming: Will I ever use it?

It sure did for me, when I was in Southern Oregon in October (aka the boondocks).
Didn't like how it drained the battery, but without it I woulda had no service at all. It worked pretty well too, suprisingly. 🙂

If they do that is a big hit to verizon and sprint as they both use them. Verizon has some native analog as does alltel. But cingular has the largest AMPS network in the country.
I believe by now, Verizon marked most of Cingulars' SIDS negative, so that people can't roam on their towers. Verizon also has either removed or marked some of Alltel's analog SIDS.
