Should I?

Well it took all my nerves not to snap my 8910 in half today. It froze up 4 times in a row then when someone called me I couldn't hear them. The sound was VERY quiet and it kept cutting out. Mind you, I had full signal (5 bars) and the antenna was pulled up.

Anyways...

Should I buy a Kyocera 7135 on eBay? I need a new phone NOW, and I really want a PDA phone. I have seen some on there that are pretty cheap, just to hold me over about a year until I can get a killer PDA (like a 6800) from VZW. I need a PDA for web browsing, email (gmail), organization, and stuff from Handango and MobiHand.
If I buy a 7135 on eBay, how would I put it on my account? Could I add the unlimited data plan, even though it only has 1x data? Is the 7135 a fair ...

is there a problem with them?

I already looked at the 6600 and there weren't any there. and I've heard a lot of complaints about the 650. I also like size of the 7135 and the writing pda. I can write faster on those than on mini QWERTYs

Treos are awesome phones, whether windows (700w) or palm (700p). The VX6700 isn't too shabby either.

no, thanks for the offer anyway. I think I may buy the 7135. I see positive reviews (is this a 1st for Kyocera?? 🤣 ) and I may even keep it for a long time. A relative had a Samsung SPH-i500 and he loved it. this phone seems very similar. I played with his i500 and I like the feel. Plus, the form was much easier to hold onto than the larger PDAs(at the Verizon store I played with a 700p and I dropped it.)

The 7135 was a good phone for the most part. I just want to warn you that if you have any problems with your email and such that VZW technical support will not trouble shoot the 7135. It had quite a few issues and it was over two years ago that the memo was sent out that we will no longer support the 7135. You should call customer service and see if they would be able to even switch your number over to the 7135. Good Luck.

Ill take it Army, should be able to get at least $100 for it on eBay!

Wait, I mean, I have an old 2325 that I use for my everyday phone, I cant make phone calls on it and the signal sucks, I am homeless and use the phone as warmth because as everybody knows the kyoccera batteries catch on fire and provide warmth for me and my wife Lequisha and our 12 kids.

So.... can I have the phone? 😁

The Kyocera 7135 is not able to be activated by anyone within Verizon.

The PDA software will not work with the network and its a junk phone...

Don't waste your time or money. The 7135 is not an E911 capable device. If you buy it you won't be able to activate it

I think it is E911 compatible, actually. It's just such a POS that Verizon refuses to activate any more of them. Strangely enough, all EBay sellers were told of this like a year ago, so whoever this guy is who's selling the item, he's a crook.
